More than half a century after its founding, LEGO remains one of the most innovative companies in the world.  Since 1998, when LEGO began releasing its DIY Mindstorms kits, people have been increasingly able to assemble robots, program them via computer, and then control them via a combination of Bluetooth, downloadable apps and voice commands.
